Avengers Midnight Screening Cupcakes!
I may have taken the day before the AU premiere off work to bake cupcakes. As one does.
Iron Man: Red velvet with cream cheese frosting and little arc-reactor cookies baked into the centre.
Cap:Raspberry white chocolate mud cake with vanilla buttercream frosting and bits of marzipan for the bits I’m too much of a klutz to pipe.
Thor:Lemon pilsner cake filled with lemon curd and vanilla buttercream frosting. That thing on top is meant to be a pop-tart.
Loki:Pineapple, coconut and lime cake with pineapple syrup, coconut buttercream frosting, toasted coconut and marzipan horns.
Hawkeye:Purple velvet cake filled with dulce de leche, butterscotch buttercream frosting.
Hulk:Devil’s food cake with Mint Slice biscuits baked in and peppermint frosting.
Black Widow:Devil’s food cake filled with chocolate orange ganache, topped with rum-infused whipped cream.
And now, I nap.
